Terms of service

Last updated — June 2026

These terms explain how Aure works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of every Member and Helper on the network. They're written to be read — if anything is unclear, write to us before you agree.

1. Who can use Aure

Aure is available to people aged 18 and over in the regions where we operate, starting with Nigeria. To join the network you must provide accurate information about yourself and keep your account details current.

One person, one account. Every account on Aure carries both roles — asking for help as a Member and offering help as a Helper — under a single identity and a single reputation.

2. Members and Helpers

When you ask for help, you're a Member. When you give it, you're a Helper. The same standards of honesty, kindness, and proof apply in both directions.

Helpers must complete identity verification — including phone, liveness, government ID, and address checks — before responding to any request. Verification is for everyone's protection and may be refreshed periodically.

3. How money moves

When a Member funds a request, Aure holds the money safely. It is not paid to the Helper until the Member confirms the help is complete, supported by the Helper's proof.

If a request is disputed, the money stays held safely while our trust & safety team reviews the proof and resolves the matter fairly.

All payments must flow through Aure. Payments made outside the network cannot be held safely, protected, or recovered by us.

  • Funding a request places the money in safe holding
  • Proof is shared as the help happens
  • Confirmation by the Member releases the money to the Helper

4. What's not allowed

Aure exists for legal, safe, everyday help. Requests or conduct that put anyone at risk have no place on the network.

  • Anything illegal, dangerous, or deceptive
  • Dishonest proof or misrepresented requests
  • Harassment or unkind conduct toward anyone on the network
  • Sharing another person's private information
  • Moving payments outside Aure

5. Ending or suspending access

You can leave Aure at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or the Helper standards, with money in safe holding resolved fairly before any account is closed.

6. Liability and changes

Aure connects people and protects the money between them; the help itself is given by independent Members of the network. We work hard to keep everything safe but cannot guarantee every outcome.

We'll let you know when these terms change. Continuing to use Aure after a change means you accept the updated terms.
